Ingredients
Scale
Rolls
- 18 frozen Rhodes dinner rolls, thawed
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 6 Tablespoons salted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus 2 Tablespoons for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Thaw and Prepare Rolls: Thaw the frozen Rhodes dinner rolls according to the package directions. Alternatively, canned buttermilk biscuits can be used if Rhodes rolls are unavailable.
- Cut Rolls: Cut each thawed roll into 4 equal pieces and set aside for coating.
- Prepare Muffin Tin: Spray a 12-cup muffin tin generously with cooking spray to prevent sticking and set aside.
- Make Garlic Butter Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the melted salted butter, minced garlic, dried parsley flakes, and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. Toss 6 pieces of the cut rolls in the mixture, ensuring all pieces are well-coated.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Place the 6 coated roll pieces into one muffin cup, pressing down gently to form a compact cluster. Repeat this process for all 12 muffin cups, filling each evenly.
- Top with Parmesan: Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese evenly over all the rolls in the muffin tin.
- Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the rolls are puffed up and golden brown on top.
- Serve Warm: Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving warm. Enjoy your mini garlic monkey breads!
Notes
- Substitute frozen Rhodes rolls with canned buttermilk biscuits if needed.
- Ensure rolls are well-coated in the garlic butter mixture for maximum flavor.
- Press rolls firmly in muffin cups to help them stick together and bake evenly.
- Serve immediately for the best taste and texture, as monkey bread is best warm.
- Can be stored in an airtight container and reheated gently in the oven.
