Description

This Creamy Lobster Pasta with Garlic & Parmesan is a decadent and flavorful seafood pasta dish featuring tender lobster meat in a rich garlic cream sauce, tossed with fettuccine and topped with fresh parsley and Parmesan. Perfect for an elegant dinner or special occasion, this 7-step recipe combines simplicity and gourmet appeal with fresh ingredients and comforting flavors.

Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta

Lobster & Sauce

  • 1 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garnish & Serving

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Sauté garlic: In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant and lightly golden, about 1-2 minutes, being careful not to burn the garlic.
  3. Add lobster meat: Stir in the cooked lobster meat and cook for 2-3 minutes to warm through and infuse the garlic flavor.
  4. Make the cream sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Allow the sauce to thicken slightly, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.
  6. Toss pasta with sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and gently toss to coat the pasta evenly with the lobster cream sauce.
  7. Garnish and serve: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the pasta.

Notes

  • For best lobster flavor, use fresh or high-quality cooked lobster meat.
  • Be careful not to overcook the garlic to avoid bitterness.
  • You can substitute fettuccine with linguine or spaghetti if preferred.
  • Adding a squeeze of lemon juice enhances the richness of the cream sauce.
  • If desired, add a pinch of red pepper flakes for subtle heat.
