Description

Apple Cider Fireballs is a warm, spiced cocktail that combines the fiery kick of Fireball Whiskey with the sweet and comforting flavors of hot apple cider. Enhanced with optional garnishes like cinnamon sugar, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise, this drink is perfect for cozy autumn or winter evenings.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
  • 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey

Optional Garnishes

  • 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming)
  • Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming)
  • Red Apple Slices (thinly sliced, for garnish)
  • Cinnamon Sticks (for garnish)
  • Whole Star Anise (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass Rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate and dip the rim of your serving glass into it to moisten the edges evenly.
  2. Apply Cinnamon Sugar: On another clean plate, spread some cinnamon sugar. Carefully coat the moistened rim of the glass in the cinnamon sugar, ensuring an even and thorough coating that will add flavor and a festive look.
  3. Add Fireball Whiskey: Pour the 2 ounces of Fireball Whiskey into the prepared glass gently so as not to disturb the cinnamon sugar rim.
  4. Pour Hot Apple Cider: Next, carefully add the 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The mixture will blend naturally, combining the spicy whiskey with the sweet cider.
  5. Prepare Apple Garnish: Take three thin red apple slices and stack them. Fan them out on a cocktail pick, positioning the top of the pick to rest on the front side of the glass slightly to one side for an attractive presentation.
  6. Add Cinnamon Stick and Star Anise: Place a cinnamon stick into the glass on the side opposite the apple fan. Then, add a couple of whole star anise into the drink for additional aroma and decoration.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Your Apple Cider Fireballs cocktail is now ready to serve. Enjoy this warm and spicy treat!

Notes

  • Make sure the apple cider used is hot but not boiling to avoid burning the alcohol.
  • The cinnamon sugar rim adds a nice sweet and spicy touch—don’t skip it if you want the full experience.
  • Adjust the amount of Fireball Whiskey to taste if you prefer a stronger or milder cocktail.
  • Use fresh apple slices for best presentation and flavor.
  • This cocktail is perfect for fall and winter gatherings or cozy nights in.
